In
Greece two organisations carried out a variety of activities for the
European Patients' Rights: Day Evropaiki Ekfrassi and Consumers' Association of Kavala
Day Evropaiki Ekfrassi carried out the following:
1.
Display of the European Charter posters and leaflets in places where health
care services are provided (hospitals, doctors' consulting and/or waiting
rooms, pharmacies, etc.);
2.
Handout leaflets on the European Charter to patients and health professionals
in waiting rooms and outpatients services of the hospitals and clinics.
3.
Organize a seminar or conference to discuss the situation of patients' right
and the possible implications of the European Charter.

The Consumers' Association of Kavala carried out the following:
1. Publication of an informative leaflet on Patients Rights issues
2. Common actions pointing at the inauguration of Patients Ombudsmen in all
Hospitals in Greece.
3. Speeches in Medical Universities regarding
the European Patients' Rights Charter and Day
4. Press releases
5. TV/radio announcements
6. Kiosks with leaflets regarding the European
Charter of Patients' Rights outside major Hospitals
7. Coalition with other 10-15 major Consumer
Organizations some special Patients Organizations in our efforts to make Patients Rights known to as many citizens
as possible.
