• Following activities were implemented in the framework of the European Patients' Rights Day: development of principles of patients' friendly environment in close cooperation with patients' organisations and Ministry of Health

• Translated and published European Patients' Rights Charter leaflet

• Distribution of The Charter on the Rights of Patients by sending letters and leaflets to all medical institutions that were asked to make an evaluation of this institution according the principles of patients' friendly environment by filling in questionnaires and sending them back to SUSTENTO

•  Competition on award of the most patients' friendly environment in medical institution

• Award ceremony - conference devoted to the European day of Patients' Rights (April 18) with some 150 stakeholders from all over Latvia
