The Malta Health Network carried out the following activities

1. Organization of a Seminar on 18 April European Patients' Rights Day addressed by local experts in the field on Patient's Rights with the aim of placing patients' rights higher on the National level and raising the general awareness on the subject. The seminar was open to members of all Health organizations in Malta.

2. Issued a press release to all local media so that the event was given the necessary importance and made contacts to have NHM representatives invited to participate in Health information and TV magazine programs.

During these events the informative material regarding the European Charter of Patients' Rights and the European Patients' rights Day was distributed.
