Help sign the Written Declaration 41/2010

Help sign the Written Declaration 41/2010 to celebrate officially the European Patients' Rights Day every year in all EU Member States! We have only the next week (and the second week of September)  to convince the Members of the European Parliament to sign it!!
We need your help in this last stretch to try to get the European Patients' Rights Day institutionalized. The MEPs are in session in Strasbourg from the 5th to the 8th of July now and we need to CALL and ask them to sign the declaration.

How can you help the approval of the written declaration 41/2010?
Convincing MEPs  from your Country to sign it !

Target MEPs from your country. Write to them (if you want you can use this standard letter) and MORE IMPORTANTLY call them and tell them of how important European Patients' Rights Day is in your Country!

You will find the MEPs' offices  e-mail address and phone numbers, in both Strasbourg and Brussels, by clicking on your Country on this link.

If each one of us takes a little time, we can achieve the goal of Making Official the European Patients Rights Day by 2011!!

The Written declaration 41/2010 was initiated by the Members of European Parliament Antonyia Parvanova (ALDE), Françoise Grossetête (PPE) and Gianni Pittella (S&D) to supports the establishment of an annual European Patients' Rights Day to increase awareness regarding the importance of patients rights and everyone's responsibilities in guaranteeing their respect.

The challenge is great. There are only three months until September 17th to physically collect signatures of more than half the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs). If this happens it will then become the official position of the European Parliament. The more signatures that are collected, the stronger the political message of the declaration will be.

Inside or outside the Parliament, every European citizen can participate in this endeavour!
