Invited by ACN official partner, the International Federation on Ageing (IFA), the Director of Active Citizenship Network was involved in the in-person EU workshop “Informing National Adult Immunization Strategies and Action”. Download his presentation.

The workshop aimed to leverage the work of experts, organizations, and government at a national level to develop a targeted approach to immunization policy, in consideration of country-specific context, policies, programs and attitudes towards immunization, with a specific focus on France and Germany.

As a the follow-up of the IFA’s virtual meeting on 20 June 2024, in which the ACN’ Director was involved in the panel as well, the workshop allowed to discuss towards a roadmap for policy action to be shared with civil society organizations and other stakeholders to ultimately improve the uptake rate of vaccines for older adults in Europe, with a specific focus on the two above mentioned countries.
