Patient communities are shaping vaccine uptake and trust. Involving patient communities in vaccine and roll-out can enhance the relevance, trust, and effectiveness of vaccines. These communities offer unique perspectives on patient needs, experiences, and preferences. Involving patients can also reduce vaccine hesitancy through increased awareness and vaccine literacy. The session - – organized in the framework of Patient Engagement Open Forum (PEOF) 2025 - explored the vaccine lifecycle & highlighted the critical stages where patients and caregivers can contribute their insights. Invited by EUPATI, the ACN’ Director shown his presentation titled “Grassroots Mobilisation Leveraging Civil Society and Community Leadership to Bridge Gaps in Vaccine Coverage”.
