As part of the EU-funded co-OPERATOR project, which aims to strengthen the uptake of and literacy around vaccines for both influenza and COVID-19 across Europe, Cittadinanzattiva-Active Citizenship Network and the other consortium partner, the European Centre for Studies and Initiatives (CESIE) will conduct - with the support of Maastricht University and the University of Pisa - three online focus groups involving healthcare professionals, citizens, and decision-makers from across Italy. The focus groups will gather feedback on a set of preliminary recommendations for policies and practices related to vaccine uptake, as well as on the co-OPERATOR virtual observatory. Feedback will also be collected on two digital tools developed by the project that are still in the early stages of creation: the training platform and the AI agent.
The focus groups will take place online on 27 April with healthcare professionals (HCPs), on 4 May with citizens, and on 7 May with decision-makers.
