Is your Government ready for another pandemic? The overall intention of the survey is to gather responses from general population and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in several countries, starting from U.S., on their perceptions of readiness for future public health threats related to infectious diseases (including future pandemics/endemics).
Specific objectives include:
- benchmark and assess perceived readiness for future public health threats related to infectious diseases;
- understand the role that clear, accurate, timely information and education plays in preparing for future public health threats;
- determine how perceptions differ among different, priority populations (i.e., immunocompromised patients, elderly, people living in rural areas);
- assess country similarities and differences across these themes.
In realizing the survey, Active Citizenship Network – supported by the Civic Evaluation Agency of Cittadinanzattiva - collaborates with patients advocacy groups from the USA.
