Active Citizenship Network is glad to invite you to the official launch for the 2019-2024 term, of the MEPs Interest Group “European Patients' Rights & Cross-Border Healthcare”
It will be held in Brussels inside the European Parliament on January 28th from 16:00 to 18:00 in room ASP 3H1. The event is titled “Joined For Vaccination: addressing Vaccine Hesitancy and Increasing Uptake in EU. A Multi-Stakeholder Perspective”, hosted by the Italian MEP Brando Benifei, co-chair of the Interest Group.
The speakers involved come from: the EU Joint Action on Vaccination (scientific supporter of the event), the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, the Bambino Gesù Hospital,  the Think Young- European Young Coalition for Vaccination, the IMI Project DRIVE, the Senior International Health Association and, of course, from the European Parliament.
The fight for vaccination can only be effective if the message reaches citizens. We need to ask ourselves how to better integrate civil society in the vaccination-related initiatives in order to make sure that the hard work and progress reaches a more general audience.
