Our support to European Institutions initiatives

This section hosts those initiatives promoted by European institutions and to which Cittadinanzattiva-Active Citizenship Network has given formal follow-up, specifically in the form of responses to public consultations, or by being officially recognized as an Ambassador or official/associated partner in support of information campaigns and multi-annual programs launched in particular by the European Commission.

Institutional working groups

The following are the main working groups that, on an informal basis, have been promoted by institutional actors at the national or European level who have asked Cittadinanzattiva/ACN to participate.

EU-funded Projects

For what concern projects funded by the EU's programs, thanks precisely to Active Citizenship Network's growing accreditation at the European level, Cittadinanzattiva has consolidated a continuity of action never seen in the past.

It has won projects promoted by as many as eight different funding programs (EuropeAid, Europe for Citizens, Erasmus+, Intelligent Energy Europe, H2020, European Union's 3rd Health Programme, IMI-Innovative Medicine Initiative, Fondo Sociale Europeo).

From 2013 to 2022 specifically, there have been 16 EU funded projects that allowed us to contribute to the sustainability field (mobility & energy transition with "Mobility," "Citizenergy," "Nudge," about certification with "Biorecer"), civic participation ("JoiEU," "U-Impact," "Polart Circle," "Dica Europa," "Bliss"), vulnerable groups' empowerment ("Patients' Voice"), collaboration with health care professionals ("ENS4Care", "Prophet"), Health workforce support in inland areas to combat "health desertification" ("Ahead"), supporting the scientific community on clinical trials' data management ("Facilitate"), qualifying the citizens' role in supporting public actors involved in emergency and disaster management and supporting the resilience of affected local communities ("Engage," "Nightingale").

Below is the list of projects, in chronological order, starting with the most recent, financed by European public funds in which Cittadinanzattiva appears as an official partner of the consortium.
