“Advancing Vaccination Equity in Europe”. A report, published in April 2023, on the essential strategies for advancing vaccination equity in Europe. Delve into the importance of targeting vulnerable populations experiencing poverty and social exclusion to reverse the decline in vaccination uptake across the continent. Featuring case studies from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK, this report highlights three key priorities for EU and national efforts: improved data collection incorporating social determinants, enhanced access through community pharmacies and mobile clinics, and fostering trust via co-created community solutions. The ACN’ Director was involved in the activity by Business Fights Poverty.

This Sustainability Report, the eighth published by the Hera Group, is a primary tool for reporting on the Hera Group’s activities and results in the economic, environmental and social fields, as well as providing information to and dialoguing with stakeholders. The “European Charter of Active Citizenship” sets out the rights and duties of civic organizations that participate in the decision-making processes related to public policies. Promoted by FONDACA and Active Citizenship Network between 2005-2006, the Charter has overcome the European borders, as demonstrated by the citations in the document “Civil Society Partnerships and Development Policies: Emerging Trends”, commissioned by UNESCO and written by International Federation of University Women.
