Over the years Active Citizenship Network has been invited to take part in juries called to select and award best practices at the European level covering topics such as digital health innovations, antimicrobial resistance, chronic pain and value added medicines.

Since 2020: the ACN Director was invited to the Judging Panel of the Italy MSD Foundation’s “Patient Digital Health Award (PDHA)”, a unique initiative in which patient groups are the main actors during all the process: from selection, evaluation and finally reward of the best digital innovations, according to patients’ views. As a follow up of the successful initiative, the promoters have launched the “European Patient Digital Health Award”, in which ACN has been confirmed among the judging panel members.

2019: as a collaborating stakeholder to the European Joint Action on Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare-Associated Infections (EU-JAMRAI), on 18 November 2019 ACN was invited to join the jury of the EU-JAMRAI Antibiotic Resistance Symbol Contest, held in the framework of the European Antibiotic Awareness Day, for the definition of an international symbol to recognize the global threat of antimicrobial resistance.

2018: Active Citizenship Network was officially included as an expert in the evaluation committee of the Value Added Medicines Award 2018. In occasion of the 2nd Value Added Medicines conference in Brussels on November 21, 2018, ACN as a member of the jury awarded the winners. To watch the video of the 2018 award winners, click here.

2017/2020: As a board member of the Pain Alliance Europe (PAE), ACN took part as a jury member of the BMP Grant, initiated by the Pain Alliance Europe (PAE) and supported by Grünenthal Group with the main aim of encouraging patient-centred innovation having, as a result, the improvement of the life conditions of pain.
