Our priorities

Download Active Citizenship Network's Action Plan summarizing our commitments at the European level based on the following four pillars: rights & duty, empowerment, cross-border related issues, sustainability. Drafted on a two-year basis, our Action Plan is updated periodically.

All our widespread range of activities have in common the following pre-conditions:

• Consistency and continuity of action between the national level and the European dimension;
• The promotion of alliances & multi-stakeholder partnerships;
• A long-term commitment instead of just spot initiatives;
• The need to guarantee a balanced dialogue and the involvement of experts & citizens coming from different EU countries, in order to avoid limiting the interaction with the EU Institutions only to the “Brussels bubble”.
