The Director of Active Citizenship Network was invited by ACN’ official partner IFA-International Federation on Ageing, to attend the in person meeting in Bruxelles focused on long-term care (LTC) vaccination policy. Using the evidence of policy gaps gathered by the IFA-led study, “Improving Adult Vaccination Policy in Long-Term Care Settings”, experts discussed how work together and develop a roadmap to LTC vaccination policy change through the channels of the WHO, professional and long-term care associations, and ageing advocacy organizations.

The expert meeting was a clear step toward a more comprehensive and innovative approach to improving vaccination policy, with special attention to those most vulnerable to serious complications from VPDs, including older adult residents in long-term care settings. To know more, click here.
