The co-OPERATOR project, funded under the EU4Health programme, aims to improve communication skills and knowledge to address systemic barriers and facilitators to effectively communicate vaccination messages to populations.
On 28 and 29 April 2025 - during the European Immunisation Week - two online Policy Lab sessions will be organised, one for citizens and patients and one for healthcare professionals.
The online interactive session on 28 April, aimed at citizens and patients, is a follow-up to the EU workshop "Towards the Establishment of National Observatories for Vaccination Promotion: The Role of Civic and Patient Organisations", held in Brussels on 26 June 2024. The objective is to translate the insights of the EU-funded co-OPERATOR project into concrete vaccination policies to address COVID-19 and flu vaccine hesitancy in the EU.
Active Citizenship Network, as a partner of co-OPERATOR, is pleased to support this initiative - led by Maastricht University with the support of the Cyprus University of Technology and the European Centre for Studies and Initiatives (CESIE) – which brings together representatives of citizens and patients, healthcare professionals, decision-makers and public health experts to promote meaningful discussions.
