On April 10th and 11th, 2025, the General Assembly of the European Consumer Union (ECU) took place in Rome. The event, during which the new leadership was elected, offered to the ECU members the opportunity to discuss and exchange views on the future of the organization as well as the critical issues facing consumerism at the European level, also thanks the participation of Italian MEPs Pierfrancesco Maran and Denis Nesci.

In the speech of the Director of Active Citizenship Network, as outgoing ECU’ Secretary General, it was highlighted what has been done and achieved during his 8 years of mandate, with particular attention to both ECU “flagship initiatives” and ECU gradual growth and accreditation. ACN Director has been appointed as new ECU Board Member.
