The Director of Active Citizenship Network has been invited to participate in the expert working session titled “Linking Adult Immunization and Chronic Disease Management to Advance Healthy Aging in Europe” to be held virtually on June 24 th, 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM CEST. This private session, organized by the Global Coalition on Aging (GCOA) will convene European and international experts across chronic disease, adult vaccination, public health policy and healthy aging for an interactive session with the goal to identify a core set of priority recommendations for improving adult vaccine uptake among people with NCDs and to inform EU and national-level actions on integrated prevention strategies for healthy aging.

This session builds on GCOA’s 2025 roundtable report and consensus statement “Vaccine-Preventable Respiratory Disease, Life Course Immunization, and Chronic Disease Management: The Healthy Aging Difference”, both documents realized also with the active contribution of the Director of Active Citizenship Network.
