The Director of Active Citizenship Network has been invited to speak at the AMR Roundtable Discussion during the World Health Summit in Berlin. Co-hosted by F. Hoffmann-La Roche, the Global AMR R&D Hub, and the Fleming Initiative, the session will explore “Why does the ‘value disconnect’ in antibiotics stick? Collaborative action to deliver novel antibiotics for-and-with society.” The by-invitation-only event will gather policymakers, NGOs, patient organisations, academia, and industry to debate global strategies against antimicrobial resistance. The program can be found here.
The annual World Health Summit brings together global health stakeholders from all sectors and regions to find solutions for the most pressing health challenges. In 2025, it takes place under the theme "Taking Responsibility for Health in a Fragmenting World."
