The Director of Active Citizenship Network has been invited to speak at the Round Table on “Advocating for Accessible Pain Relief for Older Adults in the European Union”, organized by the International Federation on Ageing (IFA). This multi-stakeholder round table will convene diverse experts, including older adults living with pain, healthcare professionals, advocacy leaders, ageing organizations, and key decision makers. The goal of the round table is to facilitate a meaningful, cross-sectoral discussion on the burden of pain among older people and explore the implications of limited access to non-prescription pain therapies, especially topical medications, across the EU.
