Cittadinanzattiva-Active Citizenship Network invites stakeholders, patient advocates, researchers, healthcare professionals and policymakers to join the final General Assembly of the European project FACILITATE, entitled “Looking to the Future”, taking place on 4–5 June 2026 in Modena (Italy) and online.

The event will bring together key actors from across Europe to discuss how to strengthen participant-centred clinical research and promote the responsible implementation of the Return of Individual Participant Data (RoIPD). Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the main outcomes of the FACILITATE project, engage with experts from leading European organisations, and contribute to discussions on transparency, trust and patient empowerment in clinical research.

A particular focus will be devoted to the future uptake of the project’s recommendations and tools, culminating in a Call to Action aimed at embedding participant-centred approaches into European and global research systems.
