As part of the EU-funded co-OPERATOR project, which aims to strengthen vaccine uptake and improve vaccine literacy for both influenza and COVID-19 across Europe, Cittadinanzattiva–Active Citizenship Network and the consortium partner, the European Centre for Studies and Initiatives (CESIE), with the support of Maastricht University and the University of Pisa, will conduct another online national focus group on 18 June. Following the session held on 4 May with citizens, this time it is the turn of healthcare professionals from across Italy.
Healthcare professionals play a crucial role in promoting confidence in vaccination and supporting informed decision-making among patients. The focus group will provide an opportunity to discuss current challenges related to vaccine promotion and to contribute directly to the development of project outputs.
Participants will be invited to provide feedback on a set of preliminary recommendations addressing policies and practices aimed at improving vaccine uptake, as well as on two digital tools currently being developed within the project: the co-OPERATOR Training Platform and the co-OPERATOR Virtual Observatory.
The contributions collected during the focus group will help refine recommendations and digital tools designed to support vaccination policies and practices across Europe.
