As part of the EU-funded co-OPERATOR project, which seeks to strengthen vaccine uptake and improve vaccine literacy for both influenza and COVID-19 across Europe, Cittadinanzattiva–Active Citizenship Network and consortium partner the European Centre for Studies and Initiatives (CESIE), with the support of Maastricht University and the University of Pisa, will organise an online national focus group involving decision-makers from institutions, regional authorities and healthcare organisations across Italy.
Public authorities, healthcare leaders and decision-makers play a key role in shaping effective vaccination strategies and creating the conditions needed to improve public confidence in vaccines. The focus group will be conducted in Italian and will offer an opportunity to discuss policy priorities, implementation challenges and potential solutions to support vaccination efforts.
Participants will be invited to provide feedback on a set of preliminary recommendations concerning policies and practices aimed at increasing vaccine uptake, as well as on the co-OPERATOR Virtual Observatory. Feedback will also be collected on an innovative digital tool currently under development within the project: the co-OPERATOR AI Agent.
The contributions gathered during the focus group will help refine recommendations and digital tools designed to support vaccination policies and practices across Europe.
This will represent the last meeting of a cycle of three focus groups, which have already involved citizens and healthcare professionals.
