Active Citizenship Network is glad to officially endorse the “Manifesto for Women's Health” drafted by the European Institute of Women’s Health (EIWH), an association who advocates for women’s health and gender equality across the healthcare continuum. EIWH calls on the EU to commit to the reduction of health inequalities and provide equitable health for all women, through the provision of an EU Strategy for Women’s Health.

In particular, the Manifesto outlines the key priorities for improving the health and wellbeing of women across the life-course, including: a) tackling the pay and pension gap; b) international collaboration on women’s health; c) implementing the Work-Life Balance Directive; d) supporting the implementation of the Clinical Trials Regulation, among other key areas.
