Cittadinanzattiva has launched "I CARE", an initiative dedicated to improving health conditions for women in the Rebibbia female prison in Rome, the largest in Europe. The project focuses on empowering vulnerable populations through health literacy and direct engagement, specifically addressing infectious diseases like HIV, hepatitis, and HPV. By fostering collaboration between detainees, prison staff, and healthcare providers, “I CARE” aims to ensure that the right to health remains accessible even in the most challenging environments.
