The Roundtable event – supported by Active Citizenship Network - will see the launch of developed Recommendations to policymakers to improve the current level of fragmentation that high-risk patients experience across the European Union regarding Covid-19 care pathways. Together with the launching of recommendations, through the organisation of the event, European stakeholders, as well as representatives of national governments and civil society organisations, will be provided with a platform to further put the spotlight on the challenges relating to achieving the optimal care of COVID-19 patients and the enhancing of national healthcare systems. The event will not only see the discussions about the needed improvement when it comes to shortening of patient pathways, but also will address the topic of health system strengthening to prevent, prepare, and respond to future pandemics.
The event will take place in Brussels, at the Stanhope Hotel Brussels on 24 May 2023, from 11:00-12:30 CET. For the registration click kere, for further information, please contact the organizers in the person of
For Active Citizenship Network this initiative is in coherence with the engagement in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, and new recent initatives started at the EU level titled “Protecting the value of access to care during - and after - the COVID-19 pandemic across Europe: focus on antivirals” and “Improving health literacy for better public and patient involvement in COVID-19 pandemic mitigation”.
