The 2nd Annual Global Summit on Public Health and Healthcare Systems (AGSPHHCS2026) will take place from 24 to 26 September 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic. This major global event will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, academicians, policymakers, clinicians, and public health experts from around the world to discuss current trends and key developments in public health and healthcare management. The scientific program features keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations, and panel discussions covering epidemiology, digital health, health policy, and disease prevention.
Active Citizenship Network will play an active role in this international forum. Specifically, the Director of ACN will participate as a speaker. The abstract submitted by the Director, titled "A Broader Narrative on Respiratory Diseases: A Citizens' and Patients' Perspective Towards the Development of an EU Respiratory Health Plan", has been officially reviewed and accepted by the conference's Scientific Committee.
The presentation will showcase a concrete example of the fundamental activities that civil society organizations (CSOs) and patients' advocacy groups (PAGs) can carry out to support public policies. It will put a special focus on vaccine-preventable respiratory diseases and the ongoing civic efforts necessary to build a comprehensive European Respiratory Health Plan, bringing a vital citizen-centered perspective to the global audience.
