EU training seminar

This training event brought together representatives from civic and patients’ associations in 12 European countries (see Here the participants’list) to discuss key topics in immunization.
Prof. Stefano Vella, an Adjunct Professor of Global Health at the Catholic University in Rome, spoke about the importance of immunization in global health. Siddhartha Sankar Datta, the Regional Adviser for Vaccine-preventable Diseases and Immunization at the WHO Regional Office for Europe, addressed vaccination policy in the European Region. Siff Malue Nielsen, a Technical Officer for Vaccine-preventable Diseases and Immunization at the WHO Regional Office for Europe, discussed using behavioral insights to increase vaccine uptake.
We also conducted Part B – a Communication & Advocacy brainstorming session, where we co-created the policy brief on Civic Recommendations on Vaccination Policies in the EU. Additionally, we worked on the VaccinAction2024 social media EU campaign with the Stripe Health team.
