The #VaccinAction2024 first training event, held in Brussels the 25 June 2024, focused on advocating for the strengthening of adult vaccination in Europe and activating stakeholders to engage with European institutions.
About #VaccinAction2024:
#VaccinAction2024 continues the legacy of the EU "VaccinAction" project, building on the success of previous editions in 2021,2022, and 2023. Our goal is to advocate for the importance of adult vaccination in Europe and engage stakeholders to inform EU policy.
Event Highlights:
As part of our 2024 activities, we hosted the first European training session aimed at empowering leaders of patient advocacy groups (PAGs) and civic associations involved in health issues across different Member States. Approximately 20 selected leaders have been trained to become educators in their communities, promoting messages aimed at protecting individual and public health. During the event, we also work together on the co-creation of a policy brief and on the next #VaccinAction 2024 communication campaign.
